So far, we found very little information about Musgrove. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Musgrove would have been located within present day DeKalb County<2>.

The location of Musgrove has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3>

While we don't have a date for the founding of Musgrove, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1877.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Musgrove is 1,290 feet [393 m] above sea level.<4>.

Time Zone: The area where Musgrove was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Note: If you travel east from Musgrove (for example, toward Menlo (GA)), you will leave Central Time and cross into the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT).

We originally found mention of Musgrove in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Musgrove was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Musgrove post office opened in 1877.

We also found Musgrove in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
