Welcome to Acme ...

So far, we found very little information about Acme. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Acme to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Acme - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Acme, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Acme , we believe that it would have been located within present day Tallapoosa County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Acme, you might consider that their post office opened in 1898.

Time Zone: The area where Acme was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Acme was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>
