Welcome to Iditarod ...

So far, we found very little information about Iditarod. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

The origin (or the toponymy) of Iditarod: Named after the Iditarod River.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Iditarod is 150 feet [46 m] above sea level.<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Iditarod was located is in the Alaskan Time Zone (AKST/AKDT) and observes daylight saving time

If Iditarod still existed, it would have been in the (907) area code.
