While we don't have a date for the founding of Huxley, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1951.
Time Zone: Huxley lies in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time. The time zone in French: MST- Heure Normale des Rocheuses (HNR), MDT- Heure Avancée des Rocheuses (HAR).
Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 5 communities that are also named Huxley - they are located in Iowa, Kentucky, Nebraska, Nevada and Texas.

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.
The earliest source (so far) we've referenced which mentioned Huxley was on a map titled Road Map for Montana & Southern Alberta (from Shell Oil, 1951).
When there's a risk of an area code running out of phone numbers, an 'Overlay Area Code' is created that has the same geographic boundaries as the existing area code.
