While we don't have a date for the founding of Venus, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895. From the Census Estimates for 2019, Venus has a population of 4,380 people<2> (see below for details). The community of Venus is 680 feet [207 m] above sea level.<3>. This is an increase of 47.97% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 381.32% since the 2000 Census). At the time of the 2010 Census, Venus had a population of 2,960 people. This makes Venus the county's 6th most populous community. The population of Venus represents 0.01% of the population of Texas (which has 25,145,561 people), making it the state's 459th most populous community. With a 2010 count of 2,960 people, the population of Venus increased 225.27% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 910 people). More information can be found on the Census Page for Venus.
