Silver City was located While we don't have the exact location of Silver City , we believe that it would have been located within present day Coryell County<2>. Time Zone: The area where Silver City was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time The location where Silver City once stood is in the (254) area code. While we believe that this Silver City is located in Coryell County, we know of another 5 Texas communities named Silver City. Those communities are located in the following counties: Fannin, Milam, Montgomery, Navarro and Red River County.
