Welcome to Mesquite ...So far, we found very little information about Mesquite. The location of Mesquite has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While the community is gone, the present day location for Mesquite is 2,960 feet [902 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Mesquite is about ½ mile above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Mesquite was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time If Mesquite still existed, it would have been in the (806) area code.
