Welcome to Camp Colorado ...

So far, we found very little information about Camp Colorado. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Camp Colorado to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. Camp Colorado was located in the Texas Panhandle.

While we don't have the exact location of Camp Colorado , we believe that it would have been located within present day Coleman County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Camp Colorado, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1872.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Camp Colorado was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Camp Colorado post office opened in 1872.

We also found Camp Colorado in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
