Buena Vista was located While we don't have the exact location of Buena Vista , we believe that it would have been located within present day Ellis County<2>. Time Zone: The area where Buena Vista was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time While we believe that this Buena Vista is located in Ellis County, we know of another 8 Texas communities named Buena Vista.
