Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Angus had an population of 427 people. This is an increase of 3.14% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 27.84% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Angus had a population of 414 people. This makes Angus the county's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 414 people, the population of Angus increased 23.95% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 334 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Angus was on a map titled Map of Texas (from Rand McNally, 1911).

We also found Angus in the book titled .<6> From that list, the Angus post office opened in 1877.
