Welcome to Armenia ...So far, we found very little information about Armenia. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Armenia to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. The location of Armenia has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Armenia, you might consider that their post office opened in 1887. While the community is gone, the present day location for Armenia is 620 feet [189 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Armenia was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time The location where Armenia once stood is in the (740) area code.
