Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Dryden had an population of 2,046 people. This is an increase of 8.25% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 11.68% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Dryden had a population of 1,890 people. This makes Dryden the county's 14th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,890 people, the population of Dryden increased 3.17% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 1,832 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Dryden was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Dryden post office opened in 1817.

We also found Dryden in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
