Amargosa would have been located within present day Nye County<2>.

Amargosa was founded in 1901.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Amargosa is 2,770 feet [844 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Amargosa is about ½ mile above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Amargosa was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time
