Welcome to Midnight ...So far, we found very little information about Midnight. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Midnight to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. The location of Midnight has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Midnight, you might consider that their post office opened in 1895. While the community is gone, the present day location for Midnight is 10,530 feet [3,210 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Midnight is about 2 miles [or ~3¼ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Midnight was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time If Midnight still existed, it would have been in the (575) area code.
