So far, we found very little information about Blossburg. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Blossburg , we believe that it would have been located within present day Colfax County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Blossburg, you might consider that their post office opened in 1881.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Blossburg was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Blossburg post office opened in 1881.

We also found Blossburg in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
