At the time of the 2010 Census, Julian had a population of 59 people. This makes Julian the county's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 59 people, the population of Julian decreased 6.35% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 63 people).

We originally found mention of Julian in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Julian was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Julian post office opened in 1882.

We also found Julian on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Nebraska (1895).
