Welcome to Brorson ...So far, we found very little information about Brorson. The location of Brorson has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Brorson, you might consider that their post office opened in 1910. While the community is gone, the present day location for Brorson is 2,300 feet [701 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Brorson is about ½ mile above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Brorson was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time Note: If you travel east from Brorson (for example, toward Alexander (ND)), you will leave Mountain Time and cross into the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT).
