From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Albin was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Albin post office opened in 1898.

We also found Albin on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Mississippi (1911).
