Welcome to Africa ...So far, we found very little information about Africa. If you can help us with Africa, please Contact Us. Africa would have been located within present day Coahoma County<2>. The location of Africa has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Africa, you might consider that their post office opened in 1903. While the community is gone, the present day location for Africa is 150 feet [46 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Africa was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time If Africa still existed, it would have been in the (662) area code.
