While we don't have the exact location of Alexandria , we believe that it would have been located within present day Lincoln County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Alexandria, you might consider that their post office opened in 1823. When the people of Alexandria referred to themselves (known as a demonym), they are believed to have used Alexandrian<3> Time Zone: The area where Alexandria was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time Communities Also Named Alexandria ...While we believe that this Alexandria is located in Lincoln County, we know of another 2 Missouri communities named Alexandria.
