Welcome to Todd ...

So far, we found very little information about Todd. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Todd to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Todd - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Todd, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Todd , we believe that it would have been located within present day Atchison County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Todd, you might consider that their post office opened in 1897.

If Todd still existed, it would have been in the (913) area code.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 16 communities that are also named Todd - they are located in Alaska, Arkansas, California (2), Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma (2), Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas (2).

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Todd was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Todd post office opened in 1897.
