Welcome to Pop Corn ...So far, we found very little information about Pop Corn. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Pop Corn to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Pop Corn - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Pop Corn, please Contact Us. While we don't have the exact location of Pop Corn , we believe that it would have been located within present day Osage County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Pop Corn, you might consider that their post office opened in 1874. If Pop Corn still existed, it would have been in the (785) area code. Adding Pop Corn to Our Gazetteer ...As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future. The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Pop Corn was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3> For more details, see References and Mentions for Pop Corn.
