Welcome to Kruger ...

So far, we found very little information about Kruger. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Kruger to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Kruger - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Kruger, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Kruger , we believe that it would have been located within present day Russell County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Kruger, you might consider that their post office opened in 1900.

If Kruger still existed, it would have been in the (785) area code.

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Kruger was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Kruger post office opened in 1900.
