Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Whitewater had an population of 70 people. This is a decrease of 15.66% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 10.26% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Whitewater had a population of 83 people. This makes Whitewater the county's 14th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 83 people, the population of Whitewater increased 6.41% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 78 people).

We originally found mention of Whitewater in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Whitewater was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Whitewater post office opened in 1832.

We also found Whitewater in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
