Welcome to Clay's Grove ...

So far, we found very little information about Clay's Grove. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Clay's Grove to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Clay's Grove - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Clay's Grove, please Contact Us.


While we don't have the exact location of Clay's Grove , we believe that it would have been located within present day Lee County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Clay's Grove, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1857.

Time Zone: The area where Clay's Grove was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

The location where Clay's Grove once stood is in the (319) area code.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Clay's Grove was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Clay's Grove post office opened in 1857.

We also found Clay's Grove in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
