So far, we found very little information about North Ridgefield. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of North Ridgefield , we believe that it would have been located within present day Fairfield County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of North Ridgefield, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1899.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for North Ridgefield was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the North Ridgefield post office opened in 1899.

We also found North Ridgefield on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Connecticut (1911).
