So far, we found very little information about Lavic. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Lavic would have been located within present day San Bernardino County<2>.



While we don't have a date for the founding of Lavic, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1902.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Lavic is 2,180 feet [664 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Lavic is about ½ mile above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Lavic was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Lavic in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Lavic was in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).

We also found Lavic in the book titled .<6> From that list, the Lavic post office opened in 1902.
