From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Arizola was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Arizola post office opened in 1892.

We also found Arizola mentioned on a train schedule titled Southern Pacific Railroad Time Tables (August 1903).
