Welcome to Elmore ...So far, we found very little information about Elmore. The location of Elmore has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Elmore, you might consider that their post office opened in 1890. While the community is gone, the present day location for Elmore is 300 feet [91 m] above sea level.<4>.
