Time Zone: Rich County lies in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time.

The community of Randolph is the Seat for Rich County.

Rich County was founded in 1864 and was created by taking area from Cache County.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Rich had a population of 2,468 people. This is an increase of 9.01% since the last Census (which gave a population of 2,264 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Rich represented 0.08% of the total population of Utah.
