Welcome to English Corner ...Although we found mention of English Corner during our research, we really don't have any information about it.<1> Given the context of how English Corner was mentioned, we believe that it was a community rather than a locale or some type of landmark. We've added English Corner to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of English Corner - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with English Corner, please Contact Us. While we don't have a date for the founding of English Corner, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1897.
