From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> DeBaca had a population of 1,748 people. This is a decrease of 13.93% since the last Census (which gave a population of 2,031 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, DeBaca represented 0.1% of the total population of New Mexico.
