Evans County was founded in 1914. Evans was created by taking area from Bulloch and Tattnall Counties. From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Evans had a population of 10,654 people. This is a decrease of 3.33% since the last Census (which gave a population of 11,021 people in 2010). At the time of the 2010 Census, Evans represented 0.11% of the total population of Georgia.
