The community of Bunnell is the Seat for Flagler County.

Flagler County was founded April 28, 1917. Flagler was created by taking area from Saint Johns and Volusia Counties.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Flagler had a population of 115,481 people. This is an increase of 20.67% since the last Census (which gave a population of 95,696 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Flagler represented 0.51% of the total population of Florida.
