Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Oakvale had an population of 111 people. This is a decrease of 8.26% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 21.83% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Oakvale had a population of 121 people. This makes Oakvale the county's 6th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 121 people, the population of Oakvale decreased 14.79% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 142 people).
