While we don't have a date for the founding of Dillons Run, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1830.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Dillons Run is 1,080 feet [329 m] above sea level.<4>.

We originally found mention of Dillons Run in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Dillons Run was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Dillons Run post office opened in 1830.

We also found Dillons Run in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
