The location of Albion has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Albion, you might consider that their post office opened in 1890. While the community is gone, the present day location for Albion is 1,340 feet [408 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Albion was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time Albion would have been located in the (304) and (681)<5> area codes.
