From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Lake Tomahawk was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Lake Tomahawk post office opened in 1928.

We also found Lake Tomahawk on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for Wisconsin (1956).
