So far, we found very little information about Loop Loop. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Loop Loop would have been located within present day Okanogan County<2>.


The location of Loop Loop has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3>


While we don't have a date for the founding of Loop Loop, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1890.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Loop Loop is 3,540 feet [1,079 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Loop Loop is about ¾ mile [or ~1 km] above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Loop Loop was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Loop Loop in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Loop Loop was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Loop Loop post office opened in 1890.

We also found Loop Loop in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
