So far, we found very little information about Hayflat. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Hayflat was located in Big Bend Country (West Texas).

While we don't have the exact location of Hayflat , we believe that it would have been located within present day Winkler County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Hayflat, you might consider that their post office opened in 1910.

Time Zone: The area where Hayflat was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Hayflat would have been located in the (432) area code.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Hayflat was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Hayflat post office opened in 1910.
