At the time of the 2010 Census, Dell City had a population of 365 people (or 10.5% of the total population of Hudspeth County). This makes Dell City the county's most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 365 people, the population of Dell City decreased 11.62% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 413 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Dell City was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Dell City post office opened in 1949.
