Alta Springs was located While we don't have the exact location of Alta Springs , we believe that it would have been located within present day Limestone County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Alta Springs, you might consider that their post office opened in 1851. A typical abbreviation for Alta Springs: Alta Spgs.
