From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Brentford was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Brentford post office opened in 1906.

We also found Brentford on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for South Dakota (1949).
