The location of Aix has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Aix, you might consider that their post office opened in 1895. While the community is gone, the present day location for Aix is 530 feet [162 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Aix was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time If Aix still existed, it would have been in the (864) area code.
