Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Big Run had an population of 597 people. This is a decrease of 4.33% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 12.97% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Big Run had a population of 624 people. This makes Big Run the county's 8th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 624 people, the population of Big Run decreased 9.04% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 686 people).
