From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Calhoun was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Calhoun post office opened in 1914.

We also found Calhoun on a map titled George#&160;F. Cram Map (1922).
