So far, we found very little information about Vicksburgh. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Vicksburgh , we believe that it would have been located within present day Fairfield County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Vicksburgh, you might consider that their post office opened in 1826.

Time Zone: The area where Vicksburgh was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

If Vicksburgh still existed, it would have been in the (740) area code.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Vicksburgh was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Vicksburgh post office opened in 1826.
