Welcome to Twilight ...

So far, we found very little information about Twilight. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Twilight to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Twilight - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Twilight, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Twilight , we believe that it would have been located within present day Monroe County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Twilight, you might consider that their post office opened in 1867.

Time Zone: The area where Twilight was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Twilight would have been located in the (740) area code.

We originally found mention of Twilight in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Twilight was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Twilight post office opened in 1867.

We also found Twilight in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
