At the time of the 2010 Census, Stafford had a population of 81 people. This makes Stafford the county's 8th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 81 people, the population of Stafford decreased 5.81% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 86 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Stafford was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Stafford post office opened in 1839.

We also found Stafford in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
