While we don't have the exact location of Murraysville , we believe that it would have been located within present day Lorain County<2>.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Murraysville was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Murraysville post office opened in 1828.

We also found Murraysville in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
